  • 2009 has arrived...

It has arrived and is well on it's way. What am I going to do for Jesus this year? One thing that I am thinking of is the burden on my heart for the neighbor lady who I clean for. She is not a Christian and really doesn't seem to want anything to do with it. She has 8 cats in her house which I don't enjoy cleaning around but she is very nice to clean for and really all I do is clean her floors which only takes about an hour. So I am praying that Linda will allow God to soften her heart. So much for that subject.

The holidays for our family were a very enjoyable time. It was such fun to be with family again! But I also thought of those whose families don't really take an interest in them and hurt for them. Some of my nieces and nephews are away in service and were home for Christmas and so it was wonderful to have them around again.

Now to start the new year out right I will be going to Faith Builders for 2 weeks over Winter Term and take 2 classes. Singleness and Women by Sharon Yoder and Reading the Bible by Steve Brubaker.

And at least one other exciting occasion for this year will be my niece, Melanie Riehl getting married to Jon Fisher on June 6. And other then that no big plans for right now...I dream of and wish to go to Thailand to visit Dorothy Beachy but don't have any plans of such right now.

Friday after Christmas our family was together and of course her great-grandpa king thought he should hold her and she fell asleep for him then

  • Don't know what was up but I see that things look ok but earlier when I was typing it underlined everything about the pics...glad it looks better...by the way I don't think I'll keep on with facbook...have enough to learn right now with xanga...
  • Busy Week...

Licking at the top of the basement steps..licking is what he does most and best right now and I don't at all appreciate it!!!

His "clifford the big red dog" he is now trying to tare him apart and I am trying to keep him from it...clifford is almost as big as he is and he pulls him out of his cage and flings him around. It is so much fun to watch him.

Thursday evening I told him to lay on this blanket and so he would try and stretch as far as he could to lick whatever fell from the table...this pic is in my apartment.
Okay so now I'm going to go xanga crazy since I learned how to put pics on :) Not sure if that is good or bad. I am being very lazy this morning cause i'ts at least felt like a very busy week. I'm usually used to a cleaning job every other Friday and now my lady had a pace maker put in and is in re hab so she doesn't need me to clean for her right now. And when I do clean I don't need to get up quite as early as I do when I work at the shoe tree factory. So it's been working at the shop from 7:30am to 5pm every day but one this week and now I am more then ready for the weekend. But I still have work to do before 4 this afternoon when we go on a picnic with some church friends....like burning trash...cleaning my car out(I get a little frustrated with how dirty it gets at work)it gets so dirty from the quarry across the road and up the hill from us....having my devotions...wishing to get a dress cut out...wiping up mom's kitchen floor(I have carpet in my cozy little kitchen)...fixing my bed :) can't stand leaving my bed unmade for the day!!....mending my doggies little froggy that he started taring apart, whatever can be torn apart will get torn apart by him and I get discusted at him for doing it. I am hoping he'll eventually grow out of that stage but I don't know.
Hmmm...I have no idea why the underlining of the words and the different color letters can someone tell me what I can do?

  • Well it seems like maybe it's been awhile since I updated. See if I can catch y'all up on at least SOME of the latest. Ok so here now are pics of my little guy...puppy. Franki is a bichon frise and he is 8 month old and has lots of energy. Right now he is chumping away on a bone that I got him at Wal-Mart a while back, I gave it to him so he would let me be on the computer. Since I've been back from FB now over a year ago I am happily settled in my little apartment in the basement of my parents house and loving it down there. When I first moved into my little apartment back in '94 I only had a little one burner stove and a little fridge and a little sitting room besides my bedroom and bathroom. WELL now I have a NICE little kitchen with a fridge and stove and right smack beside my kitchen is a bigger sitting room and little dining area! It is so cozy and so much fun for me in my new room what was once my dad's shop. Just last Saturday my parents found a nice little love seat kinda red in color with little white flowers in it and a little Victorian chair.

As far as my jobs yes I am STILL working for my brother-in-law in the shoe tree business. I have been there for about 17 years and I have some  little cleaning jobs too. I have been cleaning for the neighbor lady since I am back from FB and she even has 8 cats in her house. She is a very nice lady but I have a burden for her soul..I don't think she is ready to meet God. And then I clean for Adah Corman who is 95 almost 96 and just had a pace maker put in last week...I clean for her every 2 wks. I just took one of Junita's jobs cleaning for a 75 year old lady in Lewisburg and went to meet her Friday evening. For those of you who wonder who Junita is, she is married to my nephew and she is expecting their first child in October! It is SO EXCITING!
